Since we started the program in 2016, Covington area businesses have loved participating in Ready Set Play. They love meeting the kids, families and friends that visit during the summer. It is too late to sign up in time for the June 25 kick-off, but if your business wants to participate this year, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 253-329-099. We might be able to squeeze you in.
The cost is $400 for new participating businesses and $300 for returning businesses. The reason for the price difference is that we have to set up the new business, design their BRAG TAG, order and deliver supplies, etc. We prefer that participating businesses be located in Covington, but if they are near our borders in Kent or Maple Valley, we may be able to make an exception. Contact us for details, including which BRAG TAGS and activities are still available.
Businesses should expect 200 or more kids to visit through the course of the summer. This year there may be even more. The last two years were slow because of COVID, but with things evolving and with our ULTIMATE prize packs, we hope to have more kids participating. The target age range is elementary school, but there are always a few older and a few younger kids – especially siblings – that participate. This program is meant to be fun and inclusive, so please allow all kids to participate.
